Warming House Hours

The new warming house is done!
  About the project

The warming house has closed for the season. Check with the City of Groton regarding hours planned for next winter.  

The phone number of the warming house is 397-8470, which is shared with Groton's swimming pool during the summer season.

Ice skating in Groton is free, and all are welcome. Ice skates are available on loan (no rental) from the warming house as well.

The Carnival of Silver Skates was very fortunate to have Lori Westby managing the new warming house on behalf of the City during the first season. Other City employees who worked at the new warming house the first season included Janet Wright, Justin Olson, Justin Peterson and Allison McNamara. Thank you to a wonderful new staff!
